Power Hit Radio
Launched in April of 2003 Power Hit Radio (PHR) quickly established itself as one of the favourite radio stations in the urban area of Lithuania, getting on air the dance hits that no one played before and bringing the big music star contests that no radio have done before. By staying true to its format, delivering the entertainment and contributing to the lifestyle of young people in the cities, PHR now has a respectful share of listening and market.
The Music
The stations slogan represents the music on Power Hit Radio - dance hits No.1! The most popular current dance hits in Europe, a slice of catchy r'n'b or hip-hop, a bit of immortal house classics and the best of the breaking local dance artists - that's what our station is known for.
Radio Show Hosts
The major part of Power Hit Radio’s on air team are real DJs, playing in clubs, making music or producing mixes for special dance shows. All of the PHR presenters have a great experience from other big or local stations in Lithuania, but they chose to be at PHR in order to be close to the dance music and to bring people what they know best - fun, entertainment, hot information & their energy.
The morning DJ Saulius Prokopavicius is well known for his impersonations of the stars and the daily Top5. Daytime presenter Robertas Petrauskas is famous as a sports fan and a movie fanatic and our afternoon star Saulius Baniulis is the fastest growing star on Power Hit Radio (and he names Chris Moyles as his inspiration to enjoy radio even more!). The evening host Vygantas Grudikis left No.1 station M-1 to be with us and he is now rocking the Dateline show.

Power Hit Radio is the No.1 dance station in Lithuania, appreciated by listeners because of the best dance music selection, giving the listeners lots of new music and for bringing the latest and sometimes hard to find information about dance/ clubbing events in Lithuania to the listeners.
Events
Power Hit Radio is famous for bringing its listeners to the STARS! Every year we have at least two big contests and two big chances to win a trip to see one of the biggest dance/pop/hip-hop stars in the world. Listeners has been travelled for free to see Eminem, 50 Cent, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Shakira and Gwen Stefani in different big cities in Europe.
Power Hit Radio is well known for being a part og the biggest raves in Lithuania and we often give away tickets to see such superstar DJs as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Sasha, Underworld, Tomcraft, or even takes listeners to Love Parade and Freedom parade. Every year Power Hit Radio celebrates the radio B-day with a big dance event in Vilnius and since 2007 - also in Kaunas, with big guests from Europe and our Power DJs playing at the decks!
The most famous annual contests are "Power plane" (with big trips to exotic countries), "Power mission" (with hi-tech prizes) and "Power Halloween" (appreciated more for the fun than for the prizes).
Every year Power Hit Radio is releasing at least one special music CD compilation "Power Hits" with the biggest hits and the new tracks from our radio station rotation - the latest, "Vol.4" compilation, was released just before our radio station's 4th birthday.
